D230 Foundation seeks alumni nominations for Legacy Hall

​The District 230 Foundation is seeking nominations for LegacyHall.  

District 230 has many outstanding alumni who have used their education and experience to become successful, positive contributors to society. District 230 Foundation Legacy Hall recognizes and showcases graduates who exemplify the core mission of District 230: adults prepared to realize their life-long potential in an ever-changing world. Those selected will be honored at the Legacy Dinner in the Spring.

The District 230 Foundation is accepting nominations for candidates to be inducted into Legacy Hall in the following categories: 
• Arts and Entertainment 
• Business and Commerce 
• Community and Volunteerism 
• Education and Humanities 
• Government and Military 
• Philanthropy and Non-Profit 
• Science and Technology 
• Sports and Recreation Nominee

Criteria for selection: 
• Graduated from a District 230 high school at least five years prior to nomination. 
• Made significant contributions, demonstrated leadership and character in his/her field and to his/her community. 
• Posthumous nominations are accepted. 

The District 230 Foundation Board of Directors comprise the selection committee.  

Nominations may be made by alumni, current or former faculty and staff, administrators, and community members of District 230. Nominations need to be submitted by December 1. In order to consider each nomination equitably, the nomination form should be completed and submitted. Please provide a narrative and supporting information such as a resume or listing of accomplishments. Nominations remain active for three years. Nominations are not considered when: submitted by a family member of the nominee, are for a current District 230 employee, or are for a current District 230 Foundation Board member.
